How To Play

The Game of Life isn't really a game that you can win or lose.

Its aim is just to simulate a world where the rules of birth and death are rigidly defined, which act on cells that you've placed by clicking.

The basic rules are:

• a cell is born from an empty cell if it has exactly three neighbours
• a cell dies due to loneliness if it has less than two neighbours
• a cell dies due to overcrowding if it has more than three neighbours
• otherwise, it keeps living.
